Depending on how a charge is added to RevFlow and where a charge is in the billing cycle, it is assigned a different status. Understanding the billing cycle and what each Billing Status means is important when following up on unpaid claims.
To locate the Billing Status of a charge:
- Open the Ledger Full using the left navigation bar of the patient’s Account Information page.
- Double-click on a charge line to expand the Ledger Details. The Billing Status is listed on the far right of the page.
